As an Analytics Solutions Senior Associate, you will collaborate with various platform, product, and process owners across the Global Banking ecosystem to creatively integrate data and insights. Our goal is to provide the best experience for our customers (both internal and external) by analyzing product usage. Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for product improvement. Translate business questions into actionable recommendations.
- Design, write, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting. Develop Python scripts as needed for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics.
- Build, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using QlikSense and/or Tableau, providing real-time, meaningful insights for stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, credit executives, UX designers) to gather requirements, deliver data solutions, and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage a complex portfolio of work with strong project management discipline and robust controls.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity. Document data definitions, processes, and highlight data quality gaps for technology and process improvement.
- Provide training and support to end-users on dashboard usage and data interpretation.
- Demonstrate credibility and responsiveness in addressing ongoing and ad-hoc requests from senior leadership.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization, fostering a culture of innovation and leveraging the latest tools and techniques.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, MIS, business management, consulting, or related roles
- BA / BS; advanced study / quantitative focus is a plus
- Experience in developing complex business analysis models by being resourceful, consulting with others and considering alternatives
- Exceptional technical skills to access complex data sources to solve problems, with hands-on expertise in use of multiple business intelligence toolsets and database platforms (i.e., SQL-like languages, Alteryx, QlikSense/Tableau, Python, etc. as well as data processing platforms like Redshift, DataBricks and Starburst.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products such as PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Project
- Unwavering enthusiasm with a commitment to excellence, tenacity, attention to detail, integrity, and ability to communicate to senior management are critical for this role
- Collaboration and team skills with a focus on cross-group collaboration, go-getter attitude with excellent communication, project management, client partnership ability, and willingness to deliver on commitments
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Preferably experience within banking, credit risk or lending
