Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a Product Management team responsible for Microsoft Ads’ bidding platform, experimentation infrastructure, and conversion measurement systems.
- Define the product vision and strategy for campaign optimization, ensuring our platforms deliver measurable ROI for advertisers while scaling efficiently across surfaces and channels.
- Partner across engineering, data science, research, and design to launch features that combine cutting-edge machine learning with intuitive advertiser experiences.
- Drive adoption and growth of automated bidding strategies, experiments, and conversion tracking solutions by aligning with Sales, Marketing, and external partners.
- Champion experimentation culture within Microsoft Ads by ensuring robust testing frameworks, transparent results, and decision-making rooted in data.
- Represent advertiser needs and translate them into scalable platforms and APIs that support self-serve customers, enterprise advertisers, and third-party integrations.
- Mentor and grow product managers on the team, fostering a culture of impact, collaboration, and innovation.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years people management experience.
- 3+ years of automated bidding experience in ad-tech
- 5+ years of experience delivering products at platform scale (e.g., advertising, cloud, consumer platforms, or enterprise SaaS).
- 5+ years of working with experimentation, optimization, or machine learning systems.
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years people management experience.
- Track record of driving measurable business outcomes through product strategy.
- Experience in digital advertising (search, performance marketing, or programmatic).
- Ability to influence across executive, technical, and customer audiences.
- Solid analytical skills; data-driven decision maker.
- Passion for helping advertisers and partners succeed through AI-powered tools.
- OR equivalent experience.
Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
