GenAI Project Manager, Product Data Operations

Meta is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join the Product Data Operations (PDO) team. PDO provides data and insights that power machine learning and AI, at the core of all Meta products. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of GenAI programs by providing leadership and strategic oversight. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, and product managers, to ensure the efficient execution of GenAI initiatives. Lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives to improve the speed, consistency, and quality of GenAI data delivery

Build frameworks and tools that support horizontal scaling — including intake templates, tracking systems, and process playbooks

Drive alignment on program setup, scope, evaluation design, and success metrics across XFN partners

Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders

Support development of scalable measurement practices — making it easier for teams to track quality, throughput, and impact

Lead and mentor other individuals on the team

8+ years of industry experience in a consumer-oriented product environment, consulting, operations, or project management role

Experience prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward, managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and working with urgency

Executive presence and effective communications skills

Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience

Proven team player adaptable to a fast-paced environment

Work experience with Product and Engineering teams

Experience in foundational model development

$116,000/year to $168,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
