Your Role
The Integrated Output Solutions team is part of the broader Member Experience Transformation team and is responsible for managing the overall requirements, features, prioritization, and sequencing for creating iterative value and/or enhancements to improve the way Blue Shield communicates with our members. The Product Manager, Consultant role reports to the Manager, Product Management and is responsible for overseeing ID card delivery across all lines of business. Key responsibilities include ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance, maintaining templates, prioritizing compliance items in the backlog, managing incidents from detection to resolution, facilitating cross-functional root cause analysis and corrective action, communicating outcomes to stakeholders, and owning end-to-end reporting to ensure timely delivery.
Your Work
In This Role, You Will:
- Identify, understand, and develop ongoing key personas for product areas.
- Exhibits natural and intuitive user empathy.
- Determine and analyze KPIs at a product level to establish experience success, failures, and next steps through iteration.
- Conduct secondary market research.
- Effectively organize and lead brainstorming sessions.
- Serve as Lead ID Card liaison to align on incidents, impact and CAP.
- Utilize product management tools to create, manage, and prioritize agile team backlogs.
- Utilize ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA) to provide insights into action.
- Partner with key stakeholders across Business/Operational areas, Information Technology, Business Architecture, Digital and more to ensure an aligned path in intended outcomes, inclusive of technology, application, and process that will require change.
- Manage and reduce costs while maintaining quality and scalability.
- Refine and improve the Incident Management process.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- 6 - 8 years of experience in Product Management, Management Consulting, or Entrepreneurship.
- Requires a BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Health, or Information Technology.
- Graduate degree (e.g. MBA) is highly desirable.
- Proficient in regulatory compliance and requirements related to transactional outputs, including digital.
- Deep understanding of transactional output technology and formats such as batch, XML, JSON, XSD, Elastic, ERM preferred.
- Strong process optimization skills to enhance efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
- Demonstrated history of technical proficiency.
- Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, Facets, Smart Communications platform(s) preferred.
- Experience working with large data sets.
- Experience with SQL syntax and query writing preferred.
