We’re now looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to support our growth and join our Provet Pay team! Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager of Finance, you'll be responsible for the entire Provet Pay frontend stack, which this includes administration of the store, reports, checkout SDK and saved card management. You’re a hands-on member of the team taking full ownership of all aspects related to the frontend! 🚀

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and user-friendly frontend solutions for the Provet Pay platform.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to shape the product.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize for speed and scalability, through exploration and experimentation.
• Implement and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create opportunities to mentor less experienced engineers.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex frontend issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and trends, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and infrastructure.

What Will Help You To Be Successful In This Role?

Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. In addition, our humble wishlist includes:

• > 5 years of experience in software development
• Exposure to the payments domain, card tokenization, checkout and authorization.
• Experience with TypeScript and large-scale JavaScript projects.
• Expert in Vue, and experience with React, focus is on strong fundamentals.
• Strong fundamentals in HTML and CSS and experience building accessible UI.
• Preferred experience in building a platform used by other products, (UI)
• Experience with automated frontend testing
• Experience with Python/Django is a plus
• Experience with Devops and CI/CD is a plus
• Full proficiency in English, written and spoken
• Comfortable and curious with AI coding assistance such as Cursor, Claude Code, GH Copilot.
• > 5 years of experience in software development

• Proficient in Vue and exposure to React: Deep understanding and practical experience in both frameworks are crucial for navigating the existing codebase and contributing effectively to new features or migrations.
• Strong Technical Design Acumen: Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and performant frontend solutions.
• Effective Cross-Functional Collaboration: Successfully partnering with backend engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure seamless integration across the stack.
• Problem-Solving and Debugging Expertise: Skill in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex frontend optimizing for speed and responsiveness.
• Curious attitude and Open to new technologies: Always curious and eager to learn, not settling for the status quo and trying to add value in any area, with a roll-up your sleeves attitude you are confident to approach new challenges such as Django
• Framework Consolidation: Identifying opportunities and strategizing for consolidation of frontend components, potentially migrating from one framework to another without disrupting user experience.
• Seamless Integration: Building components that are used in other applications, applying a consistent visual identity using the in house design system
• Ensuring Consistent UI/UX Across Frameworks: Maintaining a cohesive visual identity and user experience when different parts of the application are built with distinct frontend technologies.
