Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Sales Planning:
- Define, create and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all customers and their requirements, competitors, market share, future potential technologies and condenses this into a marketing and product concept with derived marketing and communication strategy.
- Ensures the sales plan is continuously up to date by cross-checking data coming from BU's logistics / GKAM's / customers.
- Maintain good information exchange and communication with leaders and colleagues globally.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the market development and industry dynamics of the products in charge.
- Keep good transparent and continuous communication and contact with corresponding customers.
- Acquisitions
- Leading of the Acquisition and the Quote Process. Coordination of the Quote-Team.
- Definition of the Acquisition Strategy together with PG Manager, GKAM Team.
- Contribute to achieve long and short-term sales targets for product group by reaching the specific goals.
- Acquisition of new projects by early recognition of market needs and upcoming RFQs.
- Coordinate and determine price/quote strategy PG China products which have been received
- Create quotations for new business and ongoing customer change requests, follow-up with customers / GKAM's and negotiate prices/conditions.
- Create Product Sales Strategy for mid-term and long term in close alignment with BU Sales Head, PG Manager, GKAM for each key customer.
- Reporting
- Reports monthly: claims, price negotiations, productivity actions, key events, customer visits, new business acquisitions, etc.
- Monthly report on expected OI, Call-Offs and Forecasts.
Requirements:
- Technical academic studies or comparable education
- Several years of experience in direct customer care or Sales activities; Expericence in Price and Contract Negotiations.
- Experience with, continuous improvement, quality assurance, industrial engineering, production
- Fluent in English, strong communication skills, flexible mindset to tackle critical issues, analytical and strategic thinking, strong business and market sensitivity
