TrueCommerce is seeking an inquisitive, highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist with 5+ years experience in data science and machine learning to join our organization. This role will be pivotal in driving data-driven decision making, delivering predictive insights, and developing advanced models that enhance supply chain visibility, efficiency, and optimization for our customers.
That Data Scientist will have the opportunity to create enormous value for our customers and business as you work with business leaders and engineers to translate data insights into actionable strategies, with endless opportunities for projects, partnership and impact. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical expertise with business acumen and have a passion for leveraging data science to solve complex challenges. This person is a self-starter, that is great in the grey space, is passionate and curious and known for their ability to drive automation, insights and impact.

As a Data Scientist you will:
- Analyze large datasets from products and applications to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Design, develop, and implement predictive and prescriptive models to optimize workflows.
- Implement robust MLOps practices to ensure the seamless deployment and scalability of predictive models.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to embed analytics and AI-driven recommendations directly into products.
- Build advanced analytics tools and dashboards to improve data-driven decision making for both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Collaborate with customer facing teams to deliver insights that improve adoption and customer outcomes.
- Ensure quality, governance, and integrity of data across diverse, complex distributed systems and products.
- Research and apply new data science techniques relevant to supply chain digitization and automation
Requirements For Success:
- Master's degree is required (Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or Mathematics or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in data science & machine learning, ideally within the tech industry
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and their data structures.
- Hands-on expertise with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Knowledge of predictive modeling for demand planning, order fulfillment, and supplier performance.
- Ability to work with large-scale, complex transactional datasets from multiple integrations.
- Experience deploying models into production on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with API-based data exchange and SaaS integration patterns.
