Job Description

Are you ready to discover the role of a Senior Backend Java Developer (SQL) in Netcompany? 

As a Senior Backend Java Developer (SQL) you will:

• Design and architect scalable backend solutions using modern Java technologies
• Lead technical decision-making process and guide implementation across teams
• Contribute to hands-on to development using Spring Boot
• Define and maintain architectural documentation
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build cloud-ready, containerized applications
• Ensure integration quality using APIs and enterprise integration patterns
• Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and system reliability

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role: 

• Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot) and microservice architecture
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker and API development (REST/GraphQL)
• Experience with relational databases and SQL/PL/SQL
• Familiarity with workflow engines (Flowable, Camunda, or Activiti)
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and system interoperability
• Exposure to OpenID Connect or security concepts
• Experience with architecture documentation tools (Visio, Draw.io, C4, arc42)
• Excellent knowledge of English, knowledge of French would be an advantage
