Junior Buyer

Kingspan Light + Air is an award-winning innovator of daylighting and ventilation solutions for high-performance building envelopes, offering a wide range of high-quality solutions, including translucent daylighting systems, skylights, smoke, and natural ventilation products.

To help us continue to grow our business, we’re searching for a Junior Buyer. The Jr. Buyer will support the purchasing function and ensure smooth supplier communication, order follow-up, and accurate record keeping. The role works closely with production, procurement, and accounting teams to ensure timely deliveries and proper reconciliation of purchase orders and invoices.

Note that this is a part-time position (20-hours per week) with a flexible schedule.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Create and process purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Update supplier order acknowledgments and confirm delivery dates.
• Follow up with suppliers by phone or email to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Assist the accounting team with invoice matching and resolving discrepancies.
• Liaise with production teams to align delivery schedules with operational needs.
• Maintain accurate and organized purchasing records.
• Support the Procurement Manager with other administrative tasks as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

• Proven experience in order administration, purchasing, or sales administration (manufacturing/industrial environment preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with suppliers, internal departments, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of purchase-to-pay processes (order entry, delivery follow-up, invoice matching).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Reliable, proactive, and communicative.
• Availability to work 20 hours per week (schedule to be agreed, e.g., 4–5 days).
