This strategic business leader will join our team to advance commercially focused marketing analytics and customer insights advisory capabilities in region and beyond working closely with Insights and Customer Science leaders across regions, as well as internal sales, marketing and other cross-functional partners.  

Ideal leaders for this role will be adept at providing strategic direction to a team of marketing and analytics professionals who deliver world-class insights to customers to unlock value for their businesses and to help deliver more effective outcomes.  This regional leader will be responsible for working with their team to collectively drive incremental sales and deepen strategic relationships with LMS marketing and advertising clients.   

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development 

  • Inspire and manage a high-performing team of marketing scientists. 
  • Identify growth opportunities, build a leadership bench, and nurture future leaders. 
  • Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging aligned with LinkedIn’s values. 

Strategic Execution

  • Lead the strategic execution of LMS Marketing Science roadmaps. 
  • Develop and scale programs, products, and tools that fuel LMS business growth and client outcomes. 
  • Drive alignment with commercial priorities across Sales, Product, and Marketing. 

Measurement & Methodology

  • Champion B2B measurement approaches and products. 
  • Push clients to adopt learning agendas that improve marketing effectiveness. 

Client & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Build and maintain relationships with executive-level marketers and C-suite leaders. 
  • Represent the Marketing Science team at senior client meetings and industry events. 
  • Drive strategic partnerships with key sales leadership and cross-functional teams. 

Innovation & Enablement

  • Pilot new methodologies and initiatives that shape B2B marketing’s future. 
  • Advance adoption of Marketing Science solutions through enablement and education. 
  • Collaborate with data engineering and tools teams to evolve data foundations.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • 12+ years working in the marketing/advertising industry with working knowledge of quantitative marketing analytics & large data sets   
  • 6+ years of people management experience 
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline (Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, etc.). 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for developing high-performing teams and creating transformational career opportunities.  
  • A strategic thinker with excellent business judgment, strong solutions, and very strong analytical skills   
  • Expertise in marketing methods, advertising, marketing technology and marketing intelligence or business consulting – preferably in B2B. 
  • Demonstrated excellence in data analytics with experience managing analytical and quantitative teams.  
  • Expertise and knowledge of quantitative research, advanced analytics, predictive modelling techniques & marketing analytics methodologies.  
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence colleagues to effectively contribute to and lead cross-functional teams responsible for advancing strategic initiatives. 
  • Strong commercial and customer success orientation, with proven track record developing intelligence solutions and advisory capabilities aligned to commercial outcomes. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills and experience presenting to executive stakeholders and influencing senior leadership.
