Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with corporate customers to drive mutual growth
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding partner goals and aligning them with our strategic initiatives
  • Lead regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with key business stakeholder
  • Monitor account performance and proactively identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, loyalty, and analytics
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to influence sales strategy

What You'Ll Do

  • Partner with corporate or agency accounts to develop outcomes to benefit the customers of American Airlines when they fly
  • Analyzes customer needs through both online and in-person meetings with agency or corporate partners
  • Coordinates and implements programs with appropriate field and staff departments
  • Prepares correspondence, proposals and presentations to support our internal and external partner’s goals
  • Communicates updates on AA products and services as needed

All You'Ll Need For Success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3+ years experience working in Sales, Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis or other airline commercial teams

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Airline or business to business sales experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • ​Ability to operate in a highly competitive, demanding environment
  • Ability to communicate to high level executives
  • Strong account strategy development and execution skills required
  • Understanding of modern retailing approaches and strategies
  • Understanding of modern airline distribution technology such as NDC, online booking tools, GDSs
