Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Senior Manager - Airport to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.
- Develops, implements, directs and coordinates project information management policies and procedures consistent with company philosophy and objectives.
- Works with company, project, and group management to assure compliance with established project execution procedures (PEPs).
- Ensures implementation and compliance of cornerstone applications for project information management.
- Serves in a project review capacity, as required, to assist project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Possesses expert understanding of project information management practices.
- Acts as point of contact for client senior management.
- Provides training for compliance with work process procedures within the discipline of project information management.
- Works with Information Technology management to implement company wide applications for project information and records management.
- Establishes and oversees project information management and project execution policy.
- Conducts periodic audits of project information management processes to ensure accuracy and consistency and verify procedural implementation.
- Investigates potential solutions for cost savings on projects improving document management processes and applications.
- Has overall responsibility for the direction and management of the Project Information Management department including, but not limited to: budgeting, planning, staffing, goal setting, and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Responsible for the efficient operation and performance of the Project Information Management group.
- Establishes and maintains clear goals and expectations for the organization.
- Identifies, mentors, and develops talent.
- Works with group and company management to correctly identify staffing needs.
- Oversees professional development for staff.
- Supports Company programs and institutes appropriate actions for employee development.
- Builds collaborative relationships with other organizations.
- Coordinates work sharing with other regions and offshore locations.
- Drafts comprehensive procedures for project or company use.Preferred
Qualifications
Qualifications:
BA/BS + 12 Years or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
Preferred Requirements:
Responsible for the care and handling of enterprise-wide company and project documents, which includes electronic records management, distribution, classification, and retention.
Project Information Management utilizes the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control, and report on all project and company information throughout the organization.
Additional Information
This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.
