What You’Ll Be Contributing:
The Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes for our construction division of Hypertec. This role involves developing and executing strategies to ensure a seamless flow of materials, equipment, and services, from sourcing to distribution, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership:
Develop and execute a supply chain strategy, that aligns to global Hypertec strategy;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Project Management, Construction Management, Logistics, and Engineering) to ensure supply chain alignment with Construction Schedules;
Identify and implement supply chain best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive innovation.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure the supply of high-quality material and equipment;
Negotiate supplier contracts and agreements to secure cost-effective deals while ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards;
Develop supplier risk management strategies, including redundancy planning, to minimize disruptions.
Demand Planning:
Oversee demand planning, and forecasting, ensuring adequate materials and equipments are available to meet construction schedules at multiple facilities;
Implement inventory optimization initiatives to minimize excess inventory and reduce lead times;
Logistics And Distribution:
Collaborate with distribution and logistics partners (internal and external) to streamline operations, focusing on on-time delivery.
Compliance And Risk Management:
Ensure all equipment and material respect local standards
Lead initiatives to address sustainability, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a supply chain team member, fostering professional development and promoting a culture of continuous improvement;
Coordinate with global teams to support international manufacturing and distribution requirements, optimizing operations across multiple geographies.
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field;
- 10+ years of supply chain experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role;
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills with experience managing global supplier relationships;
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the construction sectors;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external partners;
- Proven ability to convey complex supply chain concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills;
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
