The Junior Art Director role is to produce creative visual assets, in collaboration with senior designers, ensuring designs meet client specifications and contribute to the agency's creative objectives, while developing skills and gaining experience in a dynamic team environment.
Job Description
Logo Design
You’ll collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and develop innovative design concepts that align with client goals and brand identities. You’ll work hands-on and take initiative.
Print Design
In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and creating high-quality folders and brochures, developing printed materials featuring specialized finishes and embellishments, and conceptualizing as well as executing large-scale branding projects.
Branding
In this role, you'll design and implement creative brand identities that are visually compelling and emotionally engaging. This includes developing a consistent visual language across all brand touchpoints—such as logos, color schemes, typography, and imagery—to ensure a strong and recognizable presence in the market.
Illustration
Creating unique and meaningful illustrations that tell stories and enrich projects visually will be another part of your responsibilities. These illustrations are tailored to the specific needs of each project, serving to enhance communication, evoke emotions, and bring ideas to life in a visually engaging way.
Composing
You'll develop creative image compositions and collages that are perfectly aligned with the specific requirements and creative direction of our projects. This includes combining various visual elements—such as photography, graphics, and textures—into cohesive and impactful compositions that elevate the overall visual narrative.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Graphic Design.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite programs.
- Advanced skills in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Expertise in final artwork creation and print data preparation.
- Strong visual storytelling, typography, and layout skills.
- A team player who is collaborative, open to feedback, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2.303 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
