Job Overview
Execute warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods. Follow, and ensure that others also follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record and dispatch goods in the warehouse. Coordinate tooling and calibration programs.
Responsibilities
As the Warehouse & Tooling Specialist, you will:
- Ensures various warehousing operations including packing and storage, replenishment, picking, loading and dispatching are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate tooling rotations & calibration for field personnel; track and ensure calibrated tools are compliant in the field; asset tracking
- Perform work activities while following all healthy, safety and environmental protocols
- Maintains complete and accurate data in the ERP system.
- Checks quality of incoming goods for storage.
- Ensure daily contact with suppliers.
- Participate in regular inventory control processes.
- Responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines.
- Picking components from stock for dispatch, final packing on pallets, transport of boxes, and various other collection, storage, and warehouse activities
- Performs other routine activities according to established procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Warehouse / Logistics
- Forklift Certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Proficiency with Microsoft office computer applications
- While performing duties of the job, employees are regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle, touch objects, and tools
- Ability to climb ladders, not be afraid of heights.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively and frequently.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and climb stairs throughout shift.
- Ability to operate lift truck or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving to a storage platform or work area
