We’re seeking an accomplished executive who brings entrepreneurial creativity, operational rigor, and deep, firsthand experience with the private markets. You have built high performing data acquisition organizations and sourced companies yourself, working in venture capital, corporate development, or strategy.

Your Impact

As Vice President, Data Product & Operations, you’ll own the vision, strategy, and execution for our portfolio of datasets and algorithms. You will lead the teams responsible for identifying new datasets, growing current ones, and building predictive models.

You Will:

  • Set the vision and roadmap for the business graph—what data we collect, how we collect it, and what predictions we build on top.
  • Lead a global team of 100+ across data operations, primary and secondary research, data partnerships, and data product management.
  • Drive rigorous operational excellence to improve data coverage, quality, and freshness across millions of companies, markets, and signals.
  • Develop creative and scalable strategies for data acquisition—including direct contribution, AI-driven extraction, and partnerships with investors, corporations, and similar companies.
  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering to build predictive models that power customer-facing use cases such as company health, commercial maturity, and M&A likelihood.
  • Champion the use of AI within data operations to achieve 10x productivity improvements and unlock new capabilities previously out of reach.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to shape the go-to-market strategy for our data, framing its positioning, pricing, packaging, and differentiation.
  • Serve as the executive voice of our business graph with colleagues, customers, and partners.

What You Bring

  • Private market fluency: You have firsthand experience sourcing investments, conducting due diligence, and analyzing markets–along with the data that moves these workflows forward.
  • Operational scale: You’ve built and scaled global data teams in financial data platforms or expert networks, with measurable success in driving quality, speed, and coverage.
  • Track record of new product innovation: You’ve conceived and launched data-driven products and machine learning models that solve high-value customer problems.
  • Customer obsession: You uncover the jobs to be done behind complex workflows. You’ve sat with customers and seen how decisions get made in the real world.
  • Technical acumen: You are a credible partner to engineering and data science. You understand how models are built, trained, validated, and shipped.
  • Builder’s bias: You move fast, work iteratively, and ship before things are perfect. You thrive in ambiguity and bring others with you.
  • Clear communication: You create energy and context for the people around you. You’re a compelling storyteller.
  • Hands-on leadership: You sweat the details. You dive into the data. You debug problems side-by-side with your team. You believe great strategy comes from knowing the ground truth.

Please note this is a US-based role.

In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible for a bonus opportunity.

A little bit about our pay practices: Typically, we will hire at our Hiring Target, but actual starting pay may be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, market rate, the qualified pool of candidates, internal compensation, candidate experience, and budgetary constraints.
