As Associate Designer at Mindgruve, you will support the full scope of Amazon & other Marketplace & Commerce creative for our brand partners, from supporting the initial concept creation to production. We are looking for someone who can jump right in and exercise their graphic design skills in the form of image manipulation, custom graphics, design concepting, more. You will report to the Design Director and be a strong team support for our other Designers.

We are a collaborative team both internally and with brand partners, so clear communication skills are imperative for the growth of our team and their businesses. We are looking for someone who is eager to grow their skills in a client-facing role and we provide mentorship to our Associate & Junior Designers to continue to grow this skill set. Our collaborative work environment fosters career development within a rapidly expanding agency. The ideal candidate will be able to work on a hybrid schedule in our Denver, CO office.

What You'Ll Do Here:

  • Organizing and managing digital assets to ensure efficiency and accessibility across teams.
  • Designing compelling, on-brand visuals for a variety of platforms, including Amazon and Walmart.
  • Supporting advertising efforts by developing eye-catching and effective creative tailored to specific campaigns.
  • Serving as a reliable creative resource for both internal teams and external brand partners, ensuring timely and professional design solutions.
  • Assisting the Design Team by contributing to concept development, production tasks, and maintaining project timelines.
  • Participating in weekly client meetings to gather feedback, present creative concepts, and incorporate revisions as needed to meet client expectations.

We Need A Person With:

  • 1–2 years of professional design experience, either in-house or within an agency environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator (2+ years).
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role is a plus.
  • Familiarity with designing for major retail platforms such as Amazon and Walmart.com is a plus.
  • Prior experience creating for retail or eCommerce brands is highly preferred.
  • Time management is a must.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to take direction, collaborate across teams, and respond positively to feedback.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Compensation: $28 - $30 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Our headquarters is based in San Diego, California, with additional offices in Covington, Kentucky, Denver, Colorado, Nashville, Tennessee and Charleston, South Carolina. We're seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively with us in one of our office's; however, based on business needs and unique job functions, some roles may be eligible for remote work.
