About The Role
We are seeking a Finance Manager to own and manage the finance reporting and operations.
Responsibilities:
Financial Operations And Reporting
- Management Accounts: Own the end-to-end monthly production of high-quality management accounts for all company entities (UK and international), ensuring adherence to UK GAAP.
- Statutory Compliance: Oversee and manage the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate the annual external audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.
- Cash Flow Management: Produce and monitor accurate cash flow forecasts and work with the team to manage working capital effectively.
- Transactional Oversight: Oversee key operational finance processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)/Billing, payroll, VAT, and HMRC compliance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement improvements to financial systems, controls, and processes to support a scalable and secure finance function as the company grows.
- Operations: Working with the team on policy adherence and financial education, Expenditure oversight and working with teams to increase efficiencies
What We’Re Looking For:
- At least Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Experience working in a scale-up/SME technology, ideally FinTech, SaaS, or InsurTech environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with preparing and reconciling statutory and management accounts.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you'll be working with all teams across the business and need to be curious about how they operate and have a desire to build strong connections across all areas of the company
- High level of detail orientation, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment is highly desirable.
