We want to create a world where travel is as simple, seamless, eco-friendly and affordable as it should be.

Today, we're a FTSE 250 company driven by our incredible team of over 1,000 Trainliners from 50+ nationalities, based across London, Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Edinburgh and Madrid. With our focus on growth in the UK and Europe, now is the perfect time to join us on this high-speed journey.

Purpose Of The Role

As Senior Manager, Go to Market, you will be at the heart of how we bring Trainline’s story to customers. You will lead the process, coordination and execution of impactful, customer focused marketing campaigns and product launches. You will bring together cross functional teams to deliver flawless, insight driven campaigns that connect with customers and drive commercial growth.

You will play a pivotal role in two exciting markets:

  • The UK, a scaled and high performing business where you will ensure continuous excellence in campaign delivery.
  • Foreign Travel, a fast growing area where the GTM playbook is still being written and you will help shape it.

You are a growth minded, collaborative leader who challenges the status quo. You understand customers and markets, inspire bold thinking, and turn strategy into campaigns that make people want to travel with us.

This role suits an organised, detail driven marketeer and programme manager who knows how to make things happen on time, with impact and at pace.

Based in our London office, you will report to the General Manager, UK and Foreign Travel, with a dotted line to the Head of Go to Market for these regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of the UK and Foreign Travel Go to Market plans.
  • Turn strategy into action by translating commercial goals into cohesive, high impact campaigns that land on time and on point.
  • Drive end to end delivery, from strategic planning and kick offs to post launch reviews and ongoing optimisation.
  • Manage creative operations by leading GTM Studio briefings, overseeing timelines and ensuring assets are delivered to specification.
  • Own internal alignment, keeping teams across commercial, growth, brand, PR, studio, product, data and supply working in sync.
  • Collaborate with partners, working with carrier marketing teams to launch joint campaigns with a consistent and compelling story.
  • Maximise owned channels by delivering effective app merchandising spots and house ads that boost visibility and ROI.
  • Balance dual markets, executing with precision in the UK while shaping new GTM approaches in Foreign Travel.
  • Embed best practice by refining scalable GTM processes and templates that ensure consistency, creativity and speed.
  • Champion continuous improvement, removing friction, driving efficiency and encouraging experimentation and learning.

Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience delivering high impact marketing campaigns, ideally in a fast paced tech environment.
  • Strong commercial mindset, comfortable with PCAs and modern marketing measurement.
  • Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities across markets and teams.
  • International experience is a bonus but not essential.

Your Way Of Working

  • A hands on self starter who combines analytical thinking with a can do attitude.
  • Energetic, creative and motivated to raise the bar.
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable in a fast changing environment.
  • Excellent communicator and confident public speaker.
  • Balances attention to detail with a bias for action, knowing when to perfect and when to move fast.

Why This Role

This is your chance to shape the GTM engine behind some of Trainline’s most visible work. You will make a tangible impact in our flagship UK market while helping write the playbook for international growth. Working closely with senior leaders and cross functional teams, you will sit at the centre of strategy and execution, driving growth through best in class go to market delivery.
