About The Role

We are looking for a pragmatic and business minded Legal Counsel to join our team. As Legal Counsel you will be part of the Legal Team, reporting to Ace & Tate’s Head of Legal and supporting all Ace & Tate stakeholders in their legal matters. Such matters include general contracting, intellectual property, employment, real estate and construction, IT, privacy, compliance, insurance and other corporate and commercial matters.

This is a great opportunity for a legal professional who enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-moving commercial environment and wants to develop broad in-house experience within a supportive team. With a commercial point of view, you are able to find pragmatic solutions for complex legal and business challenges.

Your typical day includes...

• Legal support for Ace & Tate’s Head of Legal and all stakeholders, including providing strategic guidance and advise on a variety of legal issues, analyzing business and legal risk.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating documents and commercial agreements;
• Monitoring deadlines, managing litigation and disputes, as well as overseeing corporate houskeeping and solving day-to-day legal issues
• Coordinating and managing relationships when working with globally based lawyers
• Contribute to the development of internal legal processes and training, policies, templates and frameworks to support business efficiency and risk management

This job might be for you if you have...

• 3 to 5 years of relevant multi-disciplinary working experience (preferably at a commercially operating law firm or as in-house legal counsel)
• Masters in (Dutch) Law (from a Dutch university)
• A commercial sense of relevant legal issues with an ability to get things done
• Highly organized, structured, proactive and a strong communicator who can keep many moving parts aligned
• Ability to work independently within an international team and an intention to achieve resolutions to business goals
• Fluent Dutch and English is a must, as this role requires direct communication with authorities and regulators. Experience with commercial contracts is a pre
