The Opportunity

GeoComply is seeking an Incident Management Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the central point for enhancing our prevention, timely discovery, rapid stabilization, and resolution of critical incidents. You will ensure corrective measures are successfully implemented and uphold strict adherence to SOC2 incident protocols

What You Will Do

  • Lead Incident Response: Coordinate real-time incident responses, promptly deploying necessary resources to minimize impact and meet internal and external SLAs.
  • On-Call Duty: Participate in the Incident Management on-call rotation as required by business needs.
  • Communicate Progress: Maintain accurate and timely incident progress data, providing consistent updates through all internal and external communication channels.
  • Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Chair RCA meetings to identify root causes, contributing factors, and areas for improvement, proposing actionable plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate on Problem Management: Work with Problem Managers on repeat incidents, ensuring preventative actions are tracked and implemented.
  • Analyze Data: Collect and analyze incident-based data to generate team metrics and KPIs.
  • Monitor System Health: Provide insights and monitor system health during high-traffic events.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance incident management processes and documentation to streamline efforts and improve resolution times.
  • Report Generation: Assist in creating effective reports for diverse audiences, delivering appropriate detail promptly.
  • Project Leadership: Drive both ad hoc and strategic projects and initiatives independently or collaboratively.

About You

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar Incident Management role.
  • Facilitation Skills: Demonstrated ability to facilitate and manage complex, cross-discipline reviews of root causes, concisely summarizing discussions and decisions.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills, adept at working effectively with diverse teams across various locations and cultures.
  • Analytical Acumen: Deep analytical skills with a passion for gathering information from multiple sources.
  • Drive for Improvement: Passionate about analyzing data and presenting recommendations to leadership to enhance service availability and process improvements.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work within a "Follow the Sun" global shift rotation, covering local daytime hours, including holidays and weekends, on a rotational basis.
  • Autonomy & Learning: Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certification: ITIL V3 or V4 certification.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in the Gaming industry.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian, monitoring, and on-call tools.
  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and/or on-premise environments.
  • Russian, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese language skills are a plus.
