What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?

As a QuickStart Analyst/Consultant in Strategy with a focus on sustainability, decarbonization and low-carbon fuels, you will work alongside a high-performing team to deliver strategic solutions that accelerate decarbonization within energy systems. In this role, you will analyze market trends, regulatory landscapes, and emerging technologies to support the development and implementation of innovative decarbonization and low-carbon fuel strategies. You will contribute to client engagements by conducting research, building financial models, assessing policy impacts, and designing actionable roadmaps for organizations transitioning to sustainable energy systems. Working across diverse sectors, you will help clients navigate challenges, capitalize on opportunities in the low-carbon economy, and make measurable progress toward their sustainability objectives. 

Your Day-To-Day Will Include:

  • Conducting in-depth analysis of low-carbon fuel pathways (e.g., biofuels, hydrogen, e-fuels) and related technologies.
  • Evaluating policy frameworks, incentives, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities for clients to advance  their decarbonization goals.
  • Developing business cases, financial models, and implementation plans to support low-carbon fuel strategies.
  • Synthesizing insights from complex datasets and presenting findings to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver tailored, client-focused solutions across a range of industries.

You will engage in the full client service lifecycle, from research and analysis to solution development and delivery, while building relationships with colleagues and clients. Your days will be dynamic, with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to impactful outcomes.

We Are Seeking Candidates Who:

  • Are working towards completing a post-secondary degree or diploma by September 2026, with outstanding academic credentials.
  • Demonstrate strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, such as financial analysis or modeling, market research and analysis, project problem diagnosis, and solution development.
  • Possess critical thinking and strategic analysis abilities related to sustainability, climate change, and the transition to low-carbon fuels and technologies.
  • Have experience researching and interpreting market trends, policy frameworks, and regulatory developments within the energy, transportation, or related sectors.
  • Can synthesize both financial and non-financial metrics (e.g., carbon intensity, lifecycle emissions, ESG indicators) into actionable recommendations that support client sustainability goals and operational improvements.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, including conducting research, synthesizing data, writing reports, preparing presentations, and tailoring messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, project management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in ambiguous environments and adapt to a variety of clients and industries.
  • Are highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); proficiency in data analysis and quantitative modeling tools such as Excel, Python, R, or other analytics platforms is an asset.
  • Show professionalism, flexibility, and integrity in all interactions.

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $84,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
