What'S Exciting About The Role
As an Inside Sales Associate – Merchant Acquiring, you will play a critical role in driving Verifone’s growth by identifying, engaging, and onboarding new merchants to our payment ecosystem. You will be responsible for generating leads, managing the sales pipeline, and converting prospects into active Verifone merchants through consultative selling and value-based discussions.
This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and commerce—helping businesses of all sizes embrace seamless, secure digital payment solutions. You’ll collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver a superior merchant experience and help shape Verifone’s merchant acquisition strategy.

Skills And Experience We Desire
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of inside sales or telesales experience, preferably in merchant acquiring, financial services, or fintech.
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify leads, and manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex payment solutions in a simple, compelling way.
- Proficient in merchant statement analysis.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with merchant onboarding processes, payment gateways, POS systems, and transaction acquiring models is a plus.
- High degree of self-motivation and accountability, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship building.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with cross-functional collaboration.
