Your Role:
We are seeking a dynamic talent hunter to join our team and lead recruitment efforts at our state-of-the-art Executive Briefing Center, located in the heart of Midtown. In this role, you will collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry as they work to develop and promote a world-class product for our customers.
As the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be dedicated to excellence, playing a crucial role in building Global Relay's dream team. You will take charge of high-volume, full-cycle recruitment and work to bring top talent through the door.

Your Responsibilities:
- Drive Global Relay's headhunting efforts and own the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer acceptance
- Work closely with stakeholders in identifying true skillset and business needs
- Identify target companies, user groups, and professional associations to help inform search parameters that could lead to qualified candidates
- Leverage networking opportunities such as local community groups and professional associations to identify referrals for qualified candidates
- Conduct comprehensive candidate screens and interviews to obtain and verify information used for evaluation and selection
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand their needs and deliver exceptional candidates
- Master the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure all candidate information is kept current and compliant
- Coordinate with external recruitment agencies to supplement internal sourcing efforts
- Complete all reference checks as part of the hiring compliance process
- Establish effective sourcing methods and drive talent awareness through professional networking and employee referrals
- Compile recruitment status reports and metrics to track effectiveness and inform strategy
- Ensure the established corporate recruitment process is communicated effectively and adopted consistently across the organization
- Own Global Relay's representation at recruitment-related events such as company open houses, industry networking events, information sessions, and career fairs at various academic institutes
- Represent Global Relay in a professional manner during all communication with internal managers and external candidates
- Provide guidance and mentorship to others on the team
- Assist with various special projects and HR initiatives
About You:
- 8+ years of experience in direct sourcing and full-cycle recruitment; previous work experience in the high-tech software industry preferred
- Strong time management skills with initiative to learn and adapt
- Good knowledge of NY and US employment regulations as well as best practices for talent attraction, selection and hiring
- Extensive working experience with an Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse preferred), and advanced proficiency with MS Office
- Proven ability to build trust with all levels of employees within the organization
- Takes responsibility and uses sound judgment, including exercise of discretion and confidentiality
- Keen attention to detail with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong and precise communicator with strong business acumen
- Solid project management experience and comfortable working with moving timelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and with a team
- Flexibility and demonstrated ability to take initiatives; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Compensation:
Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with applicable pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.
The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values.
