Queen City Endodontics – South Charlotte is looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our busy specialty practice.

What You’Ll Do

As our Dental Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in creating an outstanding experience for every patient. You’ll handle clinical and administrative support to keep our office running smoothly, while helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.

Your Day-To-Day Will Include:

  • Welcoming patients and preparing them for treatment
  • Ensuring their comfort and confidence before, during, and after procedures
  • Setting up and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Assisting the doctor with four-handed dentistry
  • Providing oral hygiene and post-op care instructions
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Scheduling appointments and post-op visits
  • Supporting payment and administrative processes
  • Keeping treatment rooms clean, organized, and stocked

You’ll also jump in to help with other office needs as they arise — teamwork is everything here.

What We’re Looking For

You’re detail-oriented, professional, and truly care about patient well-being. You adapt easily to changing priorities, communicate clearly, and know how to keep calm when things get busy.

Qualifications:

  • North Carolina radiology certification
  • Nitrous oxide certification
  • 2–3 years of dental assisting experience (Endodontic experience preferred)
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with dental software
  • Excellent organization and communication
  • Team-oriented mindset and flexible schedule (7:45 a.m.–4:30 p.m., occasional later hours)
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and safety protocols
  • High school diploma or equivalent
