Work schedule: This team operates seven days a week due to the critical nature of our work. Weekend coverage is shared on a rotational basis (typically 1 in 4 weekends). Full-day office presence is not usually required on weekends, and team members generally work from home one day per week.

• We’re looking for a Logistics Team Lead to play a key role in ensuring the timely and compliant shipping of gene therapy kits and serum samples across the globe.
• This position offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated logistics team within a fast-evolving area of precision medicine, directly supporting sponsor satisfaction and clinical trial success.

How You Will Add Value

As Team Lead Gene Therapeutics Logistic Account, you will:

• Manage and develop the logistics team responsible for global kit and sample shipments.
• Ensure all shipments meet customer and regulatory requirements (GDP, GCP, GDocP).
• Oversee courier performance and proactively resolve shipment delays or quality issues.
• Act as a primary contact for sponsor accounts, ensuring consistent communication and satisfaction.
• Monitor data accuracy and daily reporting on shipment statuses.
• Drive continuous process improvement to eliminate operational bottlenecks.
• Support audits, quality reviews, and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain seamless logistics flow.
• You are an experienced logistics professional who thrives on accountability and teamwork. You bring:
• Ensure all shipments meet customer and regulatory requirements (GDP, GCP, GDocP).

About You

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Ideally, experience in clinical or biological sample logistics (CRO, pharma, CDMO, or clinical supply chain).
• Knowledge of relevant regulations (GDP, GCP, GDocP) and quality management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English (Dutch isn’t mandatory and any additional languages are beneficial).
• Leadership ability, with a hands-on approach to coaching and supporting your team.
• A service-minded, detail-oriented attitude with flexibility to manage tight timelines.
