2026 Graduate Data Analyst Part Time Internship-London

The Role
We are seeking a Graduate Data Analyst to support our investment team in data onboarding, cleaning, feature engineering, reporting and dashboarding.
The role best aligns with someone looking to build a career in systematic commodities trading with close and collaborative exposure to a small high-performing team comprised of quants, developers and a portfolio manager.
We expect that a successful candidate would evolve over time into a quant researcher or developer, depending on skillset.

• Candidates need to be able to work approximately 20 hours on-site in our London Office during the academic year.
• What You’ll Do  
•    Work with researchers to onboard new datasets into our ecosystem, including setting up ingestion jobs, checking and cleaning the data, and enriching with appropriate metadata
•    Work with our developer to create scalable data pipelines and quality checks
•    Oversee daily data processes to ensure smooth running of daily trading process
•    Combine research, intuition and statistical techniques to create new data features for trading signal research
•    Create bespoke visualisations and reports to enhance our portfolio management process
•    Ingestion of unstructured research data (reports and market commentary)

What You’ll Bring
•    Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in a quantitative or technical field such as mathematics, physics, engineering, economics, or finance (graduating in Winter 2025 or summer 2026)
•    Knowledge of, and coursework in, linear algebra, statistics, and data science
•    Demonstrable coding skills (Python, SQL)
•    Prior interest or exposure to commodity trading, finance or investment n learning about hedge fund strategies and finance
