What you’ll be doing 

As a member of the Employer Brand team you will work closely with talent and marketing functions, lines of business and agency partners to lead initiatives that bring our employee value proposition to life, and attract top talent to build CIBC’s workforce of the future. The Senior Consultant, Employer Brand Marketing will be responsible for executing talent marketing initiatives, ensuring they are meticulously delivered with a prime focus on candidate experience.  The ability to manage multiple projects and strategic focus while simultaneously maintaining a sharp eye for detail and tactical focus on implementation will be key enablers for success. 

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You’Ll Succeed

  • Project management – Support the planning and implementation of marketing initiatives across the full marketing spectrum for the individual business units across CIBC. You will act as a key point of contact and see projects from planning to execution. You will support the creative process and manage the iterative approvals, execution, and performance reporting. 
  • Creative development - Contribute to the creative development and implementation of marketing initiatives for assigned businesses/segments. You will collaborate with your team, business partners and channel partners to build successful campaigns that generate impact as we authentically share our employee value proposition; “to make your ambitions a reality.” 
  • Data-driven – Use data to uncover powerful digital marketing insights to amplify awareness, drive conversion, and inform employer brand strategies. Communicate ROI from initiatives in an impactful way to support executive decision making. 
  • Relationship management - build and develop relationships with key business contacts, channel partners and agencies as a true partner to the business. 
  • Communication – Demonstrated strength in  both written and verbal communication skills, with advanced editorial and copywriting abilities. Skilled in developing impactful narratives and distilling complex information into clear, engaging content. Adept at integrating storytelling into creative materials, presentations and strategic recommendations to effectively convey key messages that support business objectives. 
  • Passion –marketing focus and passion demonstrated by formulating strategic ideas that will enable CIBC’s employer brand to stand out in the financial services and Fintech space as an employer of choice.
