The UX Team is looking for a talented UX designer with expertise in creating user-centric, elegant, and clean designs. You will join a team of like-minded people pushing the boundaries of web applications that tackle real problems in the AI Security space. Focusing on a platform and products offered as part of Strata Cloud Manager, you'll work with product managers and engineers from ideation through implementation to define the best user experience for Fortune 500 companies and national security organizations. You possess a real passion for understanding the world of our users, generating insights, and building solutions that empower them to do their best work. You'll work on teams to leverage other designers' strengths while also driving initiatives on your own. If you have an interest in creating high-quality experiences that help protect the world from hackers, we want to hear from you!

Your Impact

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design new features and refine existing ones, ensuring alignment with user needs, UX best practices, and sound design principles.
  • Assess and challenge the existing user experience, focusing on visual and interaction designs, and create new ideas for future experience enhancements.
  • Ensure the product experience aligns with business objectives.
  • Conduct and assist with user research, testing, and usability studies to gather actionable insights and data.
  • Work with the UX researcher to supplement these findings with customer feedback, driving meaningful improvements to the platform.
  • Contribute to and refine the existing design system to ensure consistency, streamline component building, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Create storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, visual mockups, and style guides to support a rich user experience.
  • Create interactive data visualizations that are new and innovative.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including front-end and back-end engineers, UX leadership, and product stakeholders, to ensure all needs and requirements are accounted for.
  • Play a key role in shaping the branding across various platforms and support Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives.
  • Provide vision and design leadership across the team, offering guidance on best practices, new design developments, and industry trends.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of design principles.
  • Expertise in the full design cycle: from concept, research, and scoping to wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
  • Proven experience designing complex web applications and enterprise software, with a focus on creating scalable, user-centric solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in designing SaaS products, with an emphasis on functionality, usability, and user experience.
  • Skilled in creating personas, user journeys, storyboards, and user flows to inform and guide design decisions.
  • Adept at quick design iterations based on user feedback and research to continuously improve product experience.
  • Strong documentation skills and the ability to present design work effectively to cross-functional teams, including product and engineering.
  • Solid understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design, and development processes, ensuring designs are inclusive and technically feasible.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates expertise in typography, color theory, layout design, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • B.A. in UX Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred).
  • A portfolio showcasing strong user-centered design, research processes, usability principles, and web-based UX/UI examples.
  • Experience creating pixel-perfect mockups and interactive prototypes.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design and UX trends.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools.
  • Use AI tools to automate workflows and inform designs in meaningful ways.

Nice To Have:

  • Comfortable with front-end development and React. Designers are not expected to code, but we do expect them to understand what can and cannot be built in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Experience with B2B enterprise software
  • Security Domain Knowledge

The Team

Our product design team is at the core of our products and connected directly to the mission of preventing cyberattacks. We are constantly innovating — challenging the way we, and the industry, think about cybersecurity. Our teams don’t shy away from building products to solve problems no one has pursued before.

We define the industry instead of waiting for directions. We need individuals who feel comfortable in ambiguity, excited by the prospect of a challenge, and empowered by the unknown risks facing our everyday lives that are only enabled by a secure digital environment.
