About The Opportunity

Position Summary
This position operates a machine to laminate label stock to corrugated board.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties are normal for this position.  The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Place handfuls of corrugated stock in feed hopper
• Cut glue mat material to size using table shear
• Hand loads labels onto label pre-feeder
• Adjust glue flow using hand tools
• Set pressure according to stock and label thickness using hand tools
• Check label placement using overlay Mylar and verify label placement against specification
• Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machine at available capacity and speed
• Inspect labels before run to ensure they match specifications, trim and registration
• Adhere to production schedule in order to meet customer demands

·        Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Previous Labeler, Machine, Labeler/Gluer Machine,  Helper Etc. Operator Experience
• Computer Data Entry and Retrieval Related Experience

Education & Experience

·        High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting
• Be exposed to dusty conditions, moving machinery, and high noise levels
• Lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis , Standing, stooping (Kneeling), walking, and lifting on a daily basis
