The Dedicated National Account Executive serves as a strategic partner between a dedicated client and Cigna Healthcare, ensuring the seamless execution of partnership agreements, optimizing account performance, and driving sustained value creation. This role is responsible for managing high-profile relationships and delivering client-focused solutions within complex organizational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with client sponsors, licensees, and vendors, ensuring alignment with league objectives and brand standards.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, legal, finance, and operations—to develop and execute account strategies that support both retention and revenue growth.
- Innovation & Growth: Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the client’s strategic direction.
- Performance Analytics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare comprehensive business reviews to assess account health, return on investment (ROI), and activation success.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Contract Execution & Oversight: Oversee deliverables, timelines, and compliance for partnership agreements, proactively resolving issues and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in account management, with a proven track record managing large, complex organizations—preferably within the sports, entertainment, or healthcare sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain meaningful relationships at all organizational levels, including internal stakeholders at The Cigna Group.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Strategic thinker with a history of developing and implementing successful initiatives.
- Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
Preferred Attributes
- Extensive experience working with national brands or high-profile clients.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and project management tools.
- Genuine passion for client’s industry and a deep understanding of their business model.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
