Manufacturing Student Recruitment Specialist (Hourly)

Job Description Summary:

Seeking an energetic and results-driven Part-Time Student Recruitment Specialist to manage and execute all talent acquisition efforts for the Advanced Manufacturing Division.

Job Description:

  • Recruit for Credit & Non-Credit Programs: Develop targeted strategies to attract high school students, college applicants, adult learners, and businesses for academic and workforce training programs.
  • Serve as Industry Liaison: Build and maintain partnerships with local manufacturing companies to identify training needs and promote customized programs.
  • Plan and Run Events: Coordinate and staff recruitment activities such as career fairs, open houses, and industry events for both credit and non-credit pathways.
  • Engage Schools & Communities: Partner with high schools, CTE programs, and adult education centers to deliver presentations, tours, and hands-on demonstrations.
  • Manage Leads & Advising: Track and follow up with prospective students, guiding them through enrollment and providing clear information on programs, costs, and funding options.
  • Handle Marketing & Data: Create recruitment materials, maintain CRM records, and produce reports on outreach effectiveness and enrollment trends.

Knowledge

  • Processes, practices, and procedures related to the departmental work being done.

  • Maintaining an established work schedule.
  • Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy.
  • Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.

  • Demonstrated proficiency using standard office software applications and student information and database systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a standard office environment.
  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds.

  • Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.
