Working Student – Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

Iberdrola Deutschland is committed to driving the energy transition through innovation, sustainability, and safety. To support our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Working Student who is passionate about creating a safer and more sustainable workplace.

Your Responsibilities

As a Working Student in our HSE department, you will support a wide range of activities, including:

• Assisting in the creation, review, and updating of HSE documentation (e.g. risk assessments, safety instructions, SOPs)
• Supporting the coordination and follow-up of internal and external HSE audits and inspections
• Helping to prepare and analyze incident and near-miss reports
• Contributing to HSE training initiatives and awareness campaigns
• Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
• Participating in data collection, tracking, and reporting (e.g. accident statistics, environmental KPIs)
• Assisting in the organization of safety drills and events
• Supporting the continuous improvement of our HSE management system
• Providing general administrative support to the HSE Manager

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and contribute meaningfully to our HSE efforts:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, Law, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong interest in health, safety, and environmental topics
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Reliable, structured, and proactive approach to work
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus
