Job Description
For our Basel branch, we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Head of Reception, Cash Desk and Facility Management. You will lead a team of seven and ensure smooth operations in reception, cash desk, and facility management, contributing to an excellent experience for our clients and colleagues.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the reception, cash desk and facility management team.
- Manage client reception, coordinate meeting rooms, and oversee the switchboard.
- Take responsibility for the local cash desk: handle payments, cash transactions and security deliveries.
- Take responsibility for building management, room planning, and coordination with tenants and property managers.
- Serve as Local Security Officer (LSO) for the Basel branch: responsible for the security of the building, management of alarms, and implementation of LGT Bank Switzerland and Group standards.
- Prepare budgets, monitor costs, and review invoices for facility management.
- Ensure compliance with defined processes, guidelines and banking standards.
- Support projects such as renovations and relocations.
- Help develop policies, processes, standards, and service levels for the reception, cash desk, facility management and LSO areas.
- Lead and develop the reception, cash desk and facility management team.
- Manage client reception, coordinate meeting rooms, and oversee the switchboard.
- Take responsibility for the local cash desk: handle payments, cash transactions and security deliveries.
- Take responsibility for building management, room planning, and coordination with tenants and property managers.
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a banking environment.
- Proven leadership experience and strong customer/service orientation.
- Excellent German skills plus good English and French language proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach, with outstanding communication abilities and an independent, precise working style.
- Confident user of MS Office applications.
- High degree of flexibility, resilience, discretion, integrity, and sense of responsibility.
