Machine Operator III - Needle Punch - 3rd Shift Weekend - $25.35/hr + $2.00/hr Shift Premium

Saturday & Sunday (7:00pm – 7:00am), OT as needed

What You Will Do:

As a Machine Operator III in our Needle Punch Department, this role involves operating machinery, performing inspections, assisting with maintenance, and working at elevated heights within a fast-paced production environment.

• Under general supervision, operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate production records and maintenance logs
• Assist maintenance teams in troubleshooting, and repairing machinery issues
• Adhere to site specific quality systems and processes 
• Identify and accurately record scrap, maintenance requests, and production documents
• Operate simple manufacturing equipment, demonstrate machining/mechanical aptitude, and learn new responsibilities and tasks as needed 
• Train others in operational and/or documentation procedures as needed 
• Identify and appropriately report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors. 
• Effectively collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker

What You Need:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ Years of relevant experience
• Ability to climb up 10 feet off the ground.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of mechanical experience
• Ability to exert up to 50-75 occasionally
