Job Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Media Strategy & Planning supports the development and execution of paid media campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and leads for Comcast Advertising, Universal Ads, and FreeWheel. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Media Strategy & Planning, this role partners with agency and cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are strategically sound, performance-driven, and executed efficiently. The Sr. Analyst is responsible for managing day-to-day campaign execution through the agency, monitoring performance, and providing data-driven insights to optimize ROI.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sr. Manager and agency to translate business goals into actionable media strategies across digital channels (display, OLV, CTV, paid search, paid social, and audio). 
  • Support the development of media objectives, strategies, and full-funnel campaigns to drive awareness, demand, and leads for the business. 
  • Help manage day-to-day agency relationships to ensure campaigns launch on time, within budget, and are aligned to business priorities. 
  • Track budgets, pacing, and campaign deliverables to ensure flawless execution. 
  • Monitor reporting dashboards and provide campaign level insights to optimize tactics. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise to influence key internal and external stakeholders such as partner agencies, cross-functional teams, and executive leadership. 
  • Work with agency to conduct competitive research, audience analysis, and channel performance deep dives to inform campaign planning. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Brand Marketing, Organic Social, Marketing Analytics, and Content, to ensure coordination of media with creative efforts and broader marketing activity. 
  • QA media plans, trafficking, and creative to ensure accuracy before launch. 
  • Identify opportunities to test new tactics, audiences, and platforms. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field 
  • 3-5 years of experience in media planning, digital marketing, or advertising (agency or client-side; agency experience a plus) 
  • Hands-on experience with paid media channels such as display, video, paid search, and paid social 
  • Strong understanding of media metrics (CTR, CPC, CPL, ROAS, etc.) and how they ladder to business goals 
  • Ability to analyze performance data, extract insights, and translate into optimization recommendations 
  • Solid knowledge of Google Analytics 
  • Familiarity with marketing attribution and reporting dashboards (Looker, Tableau, MCI) preferred 
  • Strong understanding of digital media’s role in lead generation 
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams in multiple locations 
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with Excel required 
  • Strong Presentation Skills

  • B2B marketing experience a plus 
  • Curious and proactive, with a desire to test and learn

Compensation

This job can be performed in New York City with a Pay Range of $75,886.27 - $124,177.54

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
