Senior Product Manager

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner with a strong grasp of how effective technology lifecycle management influences organizational success, and who can deliver innovative approaches to support our technology requirements. As a Product Manager/Product Owner for our Scale and Security teams, you are the end-to-end gatekeeper of the teams’ mission and tactical execution associated with delivering on strategic nondiscretionary priorities. You will ensure alignment on the 'what', 'why' and 'when' work is to be performed through ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog along with other technology leaders. You will partner with other product delivery leaders to influence broader strategic decisions, roadmaps and resource requirements. You will enable team members to work efficiently, innovate through testing and experimentation, and learn from failures while celebrating success.

The Role

• Oversee the execution and implementation of the roadmap for nondiscretionary technology requirements.
• Lead effort to meet Enterprise technology KPIs.
• Manage dashboards for EOL components and cybersecurity findings.
• Serve as a champion for the foundational Scale and Security area, articulating importance and impact of work across organization.
• Develop approaches to move from reactive End of Life (EOL) upgrades to a proactive Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM)/tech refresh approach.
• Collaborate with other colleagues where applicable, to plan and execute initiatives, measure and report on progress to leadership.
• Manage team backlog to prioritize, plan and execute against delivery sub-initiatives; ensure alignment on the 'what' and 'when' work is performed.
• Make trade-offs across teams to align resources to highest priorities, balancing risk, quality, cost, and timelines.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field
• 5+ years of related product owner experience, systems development, product development, and/or technical project management
• A strong focus on execution and an ability to find, communicate and remove impediments to progress

• Strong Intellectual Curiosity

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to understand technical requirements and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across all teams
• Ability to break complex technical requirements into clear and concise user stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria 
• Ability to manage requirements and backlogs for multiple teams
