We’re looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Finance team! As a member of the Business Partner Finance team, you’ll play a key role in creating commodity sourcing strategies, identifying best-in-class suppliers, and building relationships that deliver value to Snap Inc. Working from our Santa Monica Headquarters, you’ll work alongside our global business partners to develop relationships with suppliers that’ll help us scale and drive significant value.
What You’Ll Do:
- Build collaborative relationships with internal business partners across our organization with solid understanding of their strategies and priorities
- Identify opportunities to drive supplier cost savings, innovation, and consolidation
- Create and implement commodity strategies that engage the right suppliers
- Help instill a procurement discipline across the company and be seen as a key finance business partner
- Lead end-to-end RFx services that generate value, including performance of requirements and data gathering with business partners through to project closure
- Lead contract negotiations and secure advantageous contract terms for Snap
- Work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and business partners to execute contracts and supporting documentation
- Provide internal business partners with clear insights into cost drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Create and implement commodity strategies that engage the right suppliers
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Confirmed ability to thrive in a multifaceted environment under short timelines and changing priorities with significant levels of ambiguity
- Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and presentation
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish positive relationships and achieve buy-in from business stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Expertise in software and engineering contracts along with general contract knowledge is preferred
- Someone who emphasizes customer service and collaboration with internal partners
- Expertise in sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and supplier management
- Demonstrated expertise with Google Suite and Microsoft Office

- Someone who makes and recommends data driven decisions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- 6+ years of strategic sourcing, vendor contract negotiation, and or procurement/contract management experience
- Preference for experience with technology, including software, hardware user authentication, software maintenance and support, and consulting services
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree Preferred
- Proficiency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, etc.)
- Previous experience working at a technology focused company

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (Ca, Wa, Nyc):
The base salary range for this position is $142,000-$214,000 annually.Zone B:
The base salary range for this position is $135,000-$203,000 annually.Zone C:
The base salary range for this position is $121,000-$182,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
