The ADI SDP Team (ADGT) is seeking a visionary and experienced Staff Engineer, Systems Design/Architecture Engineering to lead the architecture, development, and optimization of scalable embedded systems across diverse industries including comms, automotive, aerospace, healthcare, and consumer electronics. This leadership role is responsible for guiding cross-functional engineering teams, driving technical excellence, and aligning system-level solutions with ADI’s strategic goals in signal processing and sensor innovation.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the development of system architectures aligned with business objectives and technology roadmaps, while leading and mentoring engineering teams to foster innovation and collaboration. Manage resources, schedules, and deliverables to ensure high-quality, timely outcomes, and drive integration across hardware, software, and algorithms for seamless embedded solutions. Enforce design standards, reviews, and validation protocols to maintain technical rigor, while staying ahead of emerging technologies to enhance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Engage with stakeholders to align solutions with business needs, ensuring comprehensive documentation and clear reporting to leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in analog/digital circuit design, signal processing, and embedded software development.
- Strong understanding of system-level design principles and cross-domain integration.
- Proficiency with simulation and design tools (e.g., SPICE, Cadence, MATLAB, ADS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing engineering teams and driving complex technical projects to completion.
- Familiarity with RF systems, power electronics, and high-speed design is a plus.
Education & Experience
- BS or MS in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
