We aim to be the primary service provider for the people and entities responsible for the care, movement, and long-term preservation of art and culture.
To that end, our Art Transportation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe handling of artwork, during transit, from one Crozier facility to another. This position will also provide expertise, leadership and guidance during projects while acting as liaison between clients and company managers. In addition to physical requirements, this role also provides leadership and guidance during projects while acting as a liaison between clients and company managers.
Responsibilities:
- Handle, move, wrap, pack, and crate art objects, decorative arts, and/or furniture
- Install/uninstall art for onsite projects
- Load/unload trucks to ensure safe transit
- Plan, organize, and pack trucks to ensure utmost safety of objects during transit
Conduct Inspection Reports
- Act as onsite liaison between clients and company management
- Determine strategy for projects, particularly when senior staff are not on site
- Spend 5% of time on laptop / desktop computer, telephone
- Minimum 2 Years - hands on experience in fine art, decorative art and/or design
- Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry standard packing, crating, and installation techniques and materials
- Ability to communicate clearly to clients and coworkers
- Detail oriented: thorough, organized, accurate and productive in work
- Act as onsite liaison between clients and company management

Qualifications:
- Must be a team player, with the ability to lead and effectively communicate instructions. Additionally, must be self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
Driver Qualifications:
- Ability to safely operate 26-ft box truck, at minimum
- Clean/Clear driving record with ability to pass all driving check
- CDL license not required but preferred
- Travel: Local = 95% Overnight = 5%
