As Principal Consultant Strategic Sourcing, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of talent acquisition at NZTA. This is your opportunity to lead innovative sourcing strategies, connect with exceptional candidates, and build robust talent pipelines for key and hard-to-fill roles. You’ll work closely with business leaders and the wider Pūmanawa Tāngata – People and Safety Group, using the latest digital tools and market insights to ensure NZTA attracts and secures the best talent in a highly competitive environment.

We are seeking a proactive and strategic talent sourcing professional who thrives on building strong networks and connecting with exceptional candidates. To be successful in this role, you must have recent and demonstrable experience in talent sourcing—ideally within agency or in-house environments—using the latest sourcing tools, digital platforms, and market mapping techniques. Your ability to engage both active and passive talent, develop robust pipelines, and deliver high-quality candidates will be key to your success.
