Are you passionate about LEGO® products, and do you wish to support translating the unique selling points of the LEGO models for fans of all ages? Do you have the craftsmanship and creative eye to be a part of bringing our iconic products to life during photo and video shoots?

We’re looking for two new colleagues to join us in roles where your experience — or passion — for the creative and media industry will truly shine and where you are ready to play the governing role on how our LEGO Products are represented.

The position is based in Billund, Denmark. No relocation assistance is offered for this position

Core Responsibilities

In this role you will prepare for and participate at product photo/video shoots, hands-on safeguarding that our LEGO products are presented to communicate the model, the storyline, the tone of voice, and the building- and play experience at its best. You will:

  • In preparation, familiarize yourself with the brief to ensure alignment of the flow of the shoot, relevant requirements for each different type of shoots, and possible risks during the shoot.
  • Prior to the product shoots, engage with the LEGO Product Development teams, to understand the product to represent; what is the product and the product line characteristics (story line, DNA, tone of voice, poses, functions and features).
  • Collaborate with and support the creative Producers at the Production photo/video shoot to ensure efficient and agile shoots, with presence, a positive and playful attitude, and an agile approach contributing in a high pace set-up – keeping the overview and the attention to details.
  • Be responsible for approving the product part in every picture/shot taken.
  • Document learnings and support continuous optimization of the role, the processes and ways of working.
  • Support training of other LEGO Designers in how to efficiently support on the Product Specialist and Stylist tasks.

As a LEGO Design Product Specialist and Stylist, you will play a crucial role in supporting creation of Life Style and Campaign communication material of our LEGO Product Portfolio – made to build awareness of our LEGO Creations for LEGO Fans of all ages.

Do You Have What It Takes?

Your background could vary — what matters the most is a genuine interest in LEGO products. Ideally, you bring familiarity with the LEGO hands-on building experience, LEGO products and with the LEGO building system. Perhaps you are already a LEGO Model Designers with a wish to try new things or perhaps you are a stylist, a set designer or something else from the film industry with a flair for LEGO building and ready to take and a new challenge. To thrive in this role, you bring:

  • A creative problem solver mentality with a keen sense of aesthetics.
  • Care for the LEGO Brand and the LEGO Brick.
  • Familiarity and a good understanding of the LEGO Building System.
  • Strong collaboration skills, having to work with creative managers, LEGO Designers, Our LEGO Agency and LEGO Producers.
  • Ability to proactively plan and continuously adjust and improve.
  • Flexible and agile demeanor, able to work under high work pressure and long working days.
  • Structure. Balancing a big-picture view with attention to detail.
  • A driving license in Denmark for the ability to commute and travel as product shoots are taking place in different parts of Denmark - and sometimes also abroad.
  • Ability to use MS Outlook, SharePoint and other relevant digital tools.
  • With occasional supervision, tasks are assigned with some explanation
  • More independently solving medium tasks with low level of support
