Adjunct Geology Professor:
Adjunct Geology Professor: This is an Adjunct position that instructs lecture and lab classes. The salary rate for this position is $700.00 per credit hour.

Adjunct Geology Professor:
Adjunct Geology Professor: This is an Adjunct position that instructs lecture and lab classes. The salary rate for this position is $700.00 per credit hour.
Responsibilities:
- 75% Teaches no more than 9 credit hours per semester.
- 10% Works as a team member in Sciences pathway; complies with all faculty responsibilities as outlined in college policies and procedures.
- 10% Contributes to campus assessment process by measuring and reporting student learning outcomes as directed to meet THECB Core Objectives and SACSCOC requirements.
- 5% Performs other duties as assigned by the Dean and Department Chair.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher with 18 hours of graduate courses in Geology from an accredited college or university.
- At least 5 years of experience teaching in the area of Geology at the university or community college level; however, professional experience may be held as equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to engage students in the learning process and proven commitment to student success.
- Collegial attitude with college community as well as outside entities.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience in tracking student learning outcomes, analyzing resultant data, and implementing improvement plans.
