What’S On Offer?
We are seeking to strengthen our Utilities division with the addition of a Program Manager to lead a high performing team and portfolio of multi-million dollar Telecommunications and Power infrastructure projects. This leadership position will be pivotal in shaping the successful delivery of fibre works on sites, ensuring excellence in health and safety, commercial performance and stakeholder engagement. You’ll play a central role in driving program and project outcomes that align with our clients expectations.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
- Overseeing the successful execution of projects and programs, delivering milestones on time and within budget, and optimising outcomes by managing commercial, safety, environmental and quality aspects
- Providing visible leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring delivery of contract obligations, client requirements and fostering a high-performing, safety-led culture
- Managing program finances including cost control, robust forecasting and accountability for financial performance in line with budgets and contractual commitments
- Ensuring the project activities are adequately resourced taking into consideration all variables including project requirements, complexity and budget constraints
- Liaising with key client representatives and maintaining collaborative working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
How you'll connect to the role:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or other relevant field
- Seasoned leader with proven experience overseeing large-scale infrastructure programs, ideally in the telecommunications or power industries
- Competency in project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
- Experience and proven capability to work collaboratively with clients under any type of contract commercial model
- Strong stakeholder liaison skills – client relationship development and management are key
