ECS is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to work in our Arlington, VA office.
ECS is seeking talented professionals to join our growing team in supporting the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC), CISA’s premier initiative for whole-of-nation cyber defense. Job Summary:
The JCDC is CISA’s flagship initiative for uniting government, industry, and international partners to proactively defend against cyber threats. Our ECS team is at the center of providing support to JCDC as they continue to plan, share, and respond to cyber threats in real time to support the greater cyber community and we are looking to grow our team supporting this critical mission.
We are seeking highly experienced Performance Analysts that can assist JCDC with understanding how their cyber tools, capabilities, information sharing and strategic outreach is performing in protecting the public and private communities it serves from cyber threats. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in guiding how JCDC better shares, collaborates with, and provides cyber threat solutions to its partners across diverse stakeholder groups in the public and private sectors. Your performance analysis will help shape how our team effectively provides actionable solutions to active real-world cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions and drive mission outcomes.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to measure program success and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the effective collection, analysis, and reporting of performance data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Work with multiple stakeholders to understand JCDC partner requirements, JCDC solutions and capability implementation requirements to provide cyber threat mitigation strategies.
- Engage directly with leaders across CISA’s partners to share and collaborate on cyber capabilities, solutions and findings.
- Provide analysis on product adoption rate and usage across partner communities, identifying early indicators of success and if necessary work to remove barriers to implementation.
- Act as the overarching strategic thinker that can help align cyber threat solutions to vulnerabilities and risk that affect JCDC partner communities.
- Engage with a team of specialists, including a Cyber Product Owner, Cyber Engagement Coordinator, and a Data Monitoring team.
- Manage the stakeholders to address implementation challenges and encourage rapid adoption of cyber solutions.
- US citizenship with an ability to obtain and maintain, at a minimum, DHS Suitability (EOD) Public Trust.
Bachelor's degree.
- 3-6+ years of experience in performance analysis, data analysis, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in analyzing cybersecurity solutions and providing guidance on their implementation to meet unique network threats.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
- Proven experience in reviewing and providing guidance on technical cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, with the ability to analyze cyber threats and vulnerability mitigations for the use in cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical
- Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring to track program effectiveness.
