About The Role (Read First)

We’re looking for someone who thrives on a small, tight-knit team: a true team player who’s flexible, takes pride in their work, and doesn’t fade into the background—someone who is proactive, visible, and excels in a guest-facing environment. You should be a self-starter who can keep yourself on task without constant direction.

Ideal shift coverage (part-time ~15 hrs/week):

  • Sunday: 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (this shift can move to another week day)
  • (Occasional additional coverage as needed for events/holidays.) (We like to keep a set schedule but this set schedule may change based on the communities needs)

Arch Amenities Group, the world's leading spa, fitness and leisure firm, is seeking a Resident Services Specialist. The Resident Services Specialist is responsible for greeting residents and their guests, enrolling residents in recreational activities, classes, and events, and helping ensure an exceptional daily experience. The role may include processing transactions, handling money, contributing to facility cleanliness, and supporting the execution of programming.

Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week (see ideal shifts above). Some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be requested for special events.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the “Arch Amenities Group Experience” by upholding Arch Amenities Group Basics to Excellence (BTE), Mission/Values, Standards & Expectations, and Brand Standards.
  • Adhere to Arch Amenities Group policies.
  • Remain knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities to communicate effectively with residents.
  • Submit paperwork and financial reporting per policy; follow all front desk/customer service SOPs.
  • Enroll residents in programs; make reservations for events, classes, and services.
  • Receive payments; reconcile daily sales, deposits, and receipts when applicable.
  • Greet every guest with a smile and eye contact; deliver excellent customer service; encourage feedback.
  • Inform facility manager of any resident issues; go the extra mile (directions, look up info, etc.).
  • Use time efficiently: check cleanliness, restock supplies; complete periodic inventory.
  • Share end-of-shift updates; maintain the staff communication book.
  • Keep work areas clear of clutter and personal items.
  • Report incidents/accidents to management.
  • Help ensure access is limited to residents/guests and the facility remains safe and secure.
  • Assist with planning and delivering a diverse calendar of programs (fitness, aquatics, sports, life enrichment, special/social events).
  • Use templates to create flyers/forms/promotional materials; prepare bulletins for display/intranet/cable/newsletters and maintain bulletin boards.
  • Assist with lifting/storing equipment, furniture, and products to maintain the facility and prepare for events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Prior customer service experience (hospitality preferred).
  • Experience programming events/classes preferred.
  • Creativity, especially in marketing and promotion.
  • Excellent oral communication; clear, legible writing.
  • Efficient, well-organized, able to handle multiple duties simultaneously.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational; strong team player.
