This role will be initially focused with the MoO2Cl2 process and support both our downtown Milwaukee facility and our M0 location (12255 W Carmen Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53225). Once fully transited to M0, the focus will be assisting the qualification and operation of the high-volume manufacturing reactor.
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Chemical Manufacturing Operator sets up and operates limited departmental equipment to perform bulk material processing, standard chemical preparations perform reactive gas reactions, chemical purification
You will have the opportunity to:
- Handle and load powdered raw materials and change compressed gas cylinders
- Monitor Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) to ensure efficient operation of automated production equipment and environment protecting equipment
- Produce accurate and detailed production logs and records
- Grind, pelletize and package air-sensitive and corrosive materials in sealed enclosures
- Maintains high level of housekeeping and cleanliness to support high-end electronics customers
- Sample products and submit for analytical tests using the computer system
- Accurately complete labor data entry along with material goods issuing and receipting into the ERP system
- Read SOP’s & Work Instructions
- Work closely with technical groups to manufacture new and developing materials
- Move materials, supplies and equipment with forklifts, powered pallet jacks and high reach equipment.
- Support our new and growing facility
- Produce accurate and detailed production logs and records

Requirements:
- A Highschool Degree, HSED, GED or equivalent years of relevant experience
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry
- An education generally equivalent to an Associate's degree in chemistry from a two-year college or technical school or a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Physics (or other related hard science) is acceptable in lieu of work experience
- Ability to report to both Milwaukee locations throughout the course of a week
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds at shoulder height
- Requires the use of safety glasses, safety shoes, a respirator, and protective clothing such as a uniform or lab coat. Other, more specialized protective gear may be required occasionally
- Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with SAP and LIMs is preferred
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
