Eagle Harbor Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Mid-Level Audio and Video Technician / Help Desk Support with a Secret security clearance to support EHS and our government customer in Washington, DC.

Seeking onsite (no teleworking) mid-level customer-focused Audio and Video Technician / Help Desk Support professional to join our IT team. The primary focus of this role is to provide Audio/Video (AV) support for our conference rooms, ensuring that all equipment is properly set up and functioning smoothly during meetings. In addition, you will assist with general IT help desk tasks, offering support to end-users and maintaining IT equipment, with responsibilities that include supporting both Windows and Mac computers.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
AV Support:
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment in conference rooms, including projectors, microphones, video conferencing systems, and sound systems.
• Provide real-time support during meetings and presentations to ensure seamless AV operations
• Conduct regular checks and maintenance of AV equipment to ensure all systems are in working order.
• Collaborate with the facilities team to address any physical setup needs in conference rooms.
• Train staff on the use of AV equipment and provide documentation for common AV setups.
• Manage AV inventory, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored and accounted for.
Help Desk Support:
• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets, providing timely assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for both Windows and Mac computers.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of IT equipment, including computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Document support activities and solutions in the IT service management system.
• Support onboarding activities, such as setting up user accounts and configuring workstations for new employees.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in AV support, IT help desk or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems, including projectors, video conferencing tools, and sound systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting common IT issues on both Windows and macOS platforms.
• Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to train others on technical concepts.
Security clearance requirement:
• Secret clearance ability to obtain a TS clearance
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move AV equipment and computers (up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including early mornings or evenings for special events.
