Job Description: System Engineer – Coupa & Celigo Integration Role Overview

The System Engineer will lead integration initiatives using Coupa and Celigo platforms, working closely with business leaders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and collaborate across teams. This role is critical to enabling seamless data flows between third-party systems and NetSuite, supporting finance and procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Engage with business leaders and cross-functional teams to collect and refine integration requirements for systems like Cardinal Health, Curant, and Optime 
• Conduct workshops and meetings to define transformation rules and integration logic

Integration Design & Development

• Build and configure integrations using Celigo’s iPaaS platform to connect external systems with NetSuite 
• Design data transformation layers between Celigo, SFTP servers, and NetSuite temporary tables 
• Update NetSuite GL tables based on incoming data formats (CSV, 3PL files) using invoice and account rollups 

System Configuration & Testing

• Configure Coupa modules such as Purchasing, Invoicing, Risk Assess, and Contract Lifecycle Management 
• Perform system upgrades, testing, and validation including UAT and end-to-end testing 

Documentation & Training

• Document integration processes and solutions for both business and technical audiences 
• Provide training and support materials for end-users and technical teams 

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor and troubleshoot integration failures, improve existing interfaces, and support post-go-live activities 
• Stay current with Coupa and Celigo updates and recommend system enhancements 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 4–10 years of experience in system engineering with Coupa and Celigo platforms 
• Strong understanding of finance and procurement workflows, especially source-to-pay processes 
• Experience with NetSuite integrations and GL table mappings
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with CSV, SFTP, and 3PL data formats
• Coupa platform certifications (e.g., Risk Assess, CLM, Sourcing)
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
• Exposure to agile methodologies and change management processes
