  • Talent Acquisition Lead - Luxury & Lifestyle EAPAC & Six Senses

About The Role

We're looking for an exceptional Talent Acquisition Lead to drive General Manager recruitment across two critical portfolios: Six Senses and IHG's Luxury & Lifestyle brands across the EAPAC region.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you'll be responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing world-class General Manager talent for some of the most prestigious hotel brands in the industry. You'll partner directly with COOs, Directors of Operations, Heads of HR, hotel owners, and executive committees to shape the leadership of our luxury portfolio.

What You'Ll Do

Six Senses - GM Recruitment 

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for all Six Senses General Manager positions globally, from sourcing through to offer acceptance and onboarding
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder interview processes involving 5+ Executive Committee members plus ownership and asset management teams
  • Develop and present comprehensive owner presentation packs to secure buy-in for candidate recommendations
  • Chair monthly GM recruitment and deployment meetings with the COO and Head of HR, providing strategic recommendations on candidate selection and internal talent deployment
  • Manage GM succession planning in collaboration with Six Senses leadership, identifying internal transfer and promotion opportunities
  • Develop cost illustrations and negotiate compensation packages with senior-level candidates
  • Oversee reference checks and GM assessments for all external and internal promotion candidates
  • Manage all GM Letters of Intent (LOIs) and local owner contracts globally
  • Maintain and grow Recruitment Boost - the Six Senses GM and ExCom CRM - building a pipeline of high-caliber luxury talent aligned to brand standards
  • Partner with the Six Senses HR Executive to support all talent acquisition needs across the brand
  • Provide monthly updates to Six Senses HR and L&L TA teams on pre-opening hotels and recruitment priorities

Luxury & Lifestyle - EAPAC Regional GM Recruitment

  • Lead the identification and attraction of future General Managers for IHG's Luxury & Lifestyle brands across the EAPAC region
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through proactive networking, passive candidate engagement, and leveraging internal connections
  • Assess and match candidates to specific Luxury & Lifestyle brands using Success Profiles, with deep understanding of each brand's culture, standards, and hallmarks
  • Drive diversity in all sourcing and hiring practices, ensuring diverse candidate pools for every vacancy
  • Deliver exceptional candidate and hiring leader experience throughout the recruitment journey, balancing pace with quality
  • Collate and synthesize candidate feedback aligned to IHG's leadership criteria: "Guest Obsessed," "Performance Builders," "Commercial Entrepreneurs," and "Powerful Connectors"
  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key L&L stakeholders across the region
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights on GM compensation, benefits, and working practices to inform talent strategy
  • Design and implement pre-boarding plans to ensure new GMs feel connected to IHG from day one

Strategic Partnership & Employer Branding

  • Collaborate with Global TA Centres of Excellence on employer branding initiatives, attraction strategies, and global TA programs
  • Partner with Directors of People and Regional Talent Managers on talent management strategies for Six Senses and L&L brands
  • Share best practices, methodologies, and tools across the broader TA Operations team to drive shared global success
  • Guide social media recruitment strategies, ensuring all GM advertisements meet brand standards across Six Senses Facebook, LinkedIn, and IHG Careers
  • Create internal announcements for all new GM appointments and movements globally

What You'Ll Bring

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in senior-level recruitment, ideally within hospitality, luxury retail, or premium service industries
  • Proven track record of recruiting senior leadership roles in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Deep understanding of luxury brand standards and the ability to assess cultural fit and brand alignment
  • Experience managing end-to-end executive search processes, including stakeholder management, assessment, negotiation, and offer management
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain talent pipelines and CRM systems
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience developing cost illustrations and negotiating executive-level compensation packages

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and partner with executives, hotel owners, and a multitude of stakeholders across the hotel lifecycle
  • Strategic thinker who can balance long-term talent planning with immediate hiring needs
  • Outstanding candidate assessment capabilities with the ability to evaluate leadership potential and cultural fit
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple complex recruitment processes simultaneously across different time zones
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to create compelling presentations and candidate profiles
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Cultural intelligence and experience working across diverse markets and geographies
  • Proficiency with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and CRM platforms

Desirable

  • Previous experience recruiting for hotel General Managers or senior hospitality leadership roles
  • Knowledge of EAPAC hospitality markets, particularly Singapore, Greater China, Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea
  • Understanding of visa and immigration processes across multiple countries
  • Experience with succession planning and internal talent mobility programs
